It used to be that showing your school spirit and looking good while doing it, were like oil and water, the two didn't mix! I was personally surprised to find so little available in the way of fashion and collegiate bags of any kind. After encountering the same low quality tote with a logo slapped on it, over and over again, I decided to call on my art and design background and create my own! My husbands family has been in the bag business for over 40 years now, so this was a natural fit.

 In 2007, we launched Desden as a means to bring high quality and stylish tote bags to the collegiate bag market. We use the most durable fabrics and I make sure each bag has special attention to all the important details, like where to put your cell phone or your favorite tube of lip gloss! There are hidden pockets and little zippers and all the things that make you happy in a tote. 

 The best part is that a portion of every bag sold is given back to that university. So you can feel good about supporting your school and being fashionable, all at the same time!
